İngilizcede günlük konuşma kalıplarından örnekler bulabileceğiniz yeni bir seriye başladık. Bu deyimler sayesinde ingilizce konuşmalarda geçen gündelik tabirlere yabancılık çekmeyeceksiniz ve daha akıcı konuşabileceksiniz.

to sit down -  oturmak

Sit down, please. 

Lütfen oturunuz.

They sat down in front of the bank.

Bankanın önüne oturdular.

We are always polite to tourists. If you want, you can sit down.

Biz turistlere karşı daima kibarızdır. isterseniz oturabilirsiniz.

to stand up - ayağa kalkmak

When the teacher come in we stand up.

Öğretmen girdiği zaman ayağa kalkarız. 

She stood up when she saw me.

Beni gördüğü vakit ayağa kalktı. 

to look at - bakmak

Don't look at me, look at your book.

Bana bakma, kitabına bak.

to put on - giymek

I will put on my new coat.

Yeni ceketimi giyeceğim. 

Can't you put on something else?

Başka bir şey giyemez misin?

to take a bus ( taxi etc.) - otobüse ( taksiye vs.) binmek 

He sometimes takes a taxi. 

O bazen taksiye biner.

I don't take a bus in the morning.

Sabah otobüse binmem.

Do you take a bus every morning?

Her sabah otobüse biner misiniz?

to go to bed - yatmak

What time do you usually go to bed?

Genellikle kaçta yatarsın?

Children go to bed at nine o'clock.

Çocuklar saat dokuzda yatar.

to get up - kalkmak

I get up at six o'clock every morning.

Her sabah saat altında kalkarım. 

He got up late this morning.

Bu sabah geç kalktı. 

She never get up early.

O hiç erken kalkmaz.

all right - pekala, kabul, tamam, uygun

All right, I will come with you.

Pekala, sizinle geleceğim.

He can sleep here. It is all right with me.

Burada uyuyabilir. Bence uygundur. 

Will it be all right if I answer you tomorrow?

Sana yarın cevap versem uygun olur mu?

I think - bence, galiba, zannedersem, kanımca

I think we are late for work

Galiba işe geç kaldık. 

I think you don't love me any more. 

Kanımca beni artık sevmiyorsun.

to get back - dönmek, geriye gelmek

He got back from Izmir two days ago.

İzmir'den iki gün önce döndü.

When did you get back from work?

İşten ne zaman döndün?

to get on - (bir taşıta) binmek

He got an the train

Trene bindi.

The old man couldn't get on the bus.

Yaşlı kadın otobüse binemedi.

to get off - (bir taşıttan) inmek

You can get off at the next stop.

Bundan sonraki durakta inebilirsiniz.

They get off the train at this station.
